BMW has updated the i4 for the 2025 model year, revealing new pricing and driving range details. The updated i4, BMW's smallest electric sedan, sees a price increase across all models, with driving range adjustments varying by trim.
Similar to the 4 Series Gran Coupe, the i4 receives only minor visual updates. The list of standard and optional features has been revised, and the interior now features a redesigned steering wheel and enhancements to the infotainment system.
The pricing for the 2025 i4 models is as follows:
i4 eDrive40: $59,075 (an increase of $780 from 2024) i4 xDrive40: $63,475 (up $880 from 2024)
i4 M50: $71,875 (a $1,180 increase from 2024) These prices include a mandatory destination charge of $1,175, which is up from $995 in 2024.
The driving range for the 2025 i4 varies by model. The rear-wheel-drive eDrive40 now offers a range of 295 to 318 miles per charge, compared to 283 to 301 miles in 2024. The higher range is achieved with the standard 18-inch alloys, while the lower range applies to the optional 19-inch M wheels. The all-wheel-drive xDrive40 has a range of 268 to 287 miles, down from 279 to 307 miles in 2024. The performance-oriented M50 model offers a range of 227 to 267 miles, with the lower figure dropping by two miles from the previous year.
Pricing for the 2025 eDrive35, the base model from 2024 with a starting price of $53,195 including a $995 destination charge, has not yet been announced. However, a BMW spokesperson confirmed to Autoblog that the eDrive35 will return for the 2025 model year and is not being discontinued or replaced. The remaining i4 trims are already in production and available for order.
